Dream Catcher Financial Services was formed in 2001 and became a State Licensed Investment Advisory firm in 2009. Larry J. Burns is the owner of Dream Catcher Financial Services and has been in the financial services business since 1977.

Dream Catcher is a fee-only firm that does traditional money management internally. The firm's specialties include using proprietary money management models and alternative investments. Our current investment strategies include Mutual Funds and Leveraged Mutual Funds. We design each client’s portfolio based on their personal risk tolerance.
We have 17 different strategies that we follow monthly, we are currently using 14 of those strategies with current clients. Financial planning and cash flow analysis is available on a case-by-case basis.
Dream Catcher is Securities licensed in the state of Colorado and helps US Citizens who are residents of Colorado.
Dream Catcher is an Advisor for mostly individual clients who want to diversify their portfolio by using alternative investments and unique proprietary money management approach. We manage as little as $25,000 but please understand to get good diversification requires $100,000 or more. Alternative investments are available to accredited investors only.
Methods of Analysis, Investment Strategies, and Risk of Loss
We use multiple sources of trade publications to gather our information for our proprietary asset management programs. We also use 3rd party due diligence companies before we sign an agreement with any alternative investment company.

Larry J. Burns was born in 1949 and graduated from California Polytechnic University with a B.S. degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. His business background has been in the financial services industry since 1977. He began as an Insurance Agent specializing in Life and Health Insurance, in 1992 he became securities licensed and represented 5 different Broker-Dealers as a Registered Rep until 2009. He formed Dream Catcher Financial Services in 2001; the firm became an LLC in 2006. In 2009 Dream Catcher became a licensed Registered Investment Advisor and Larry has been a fee only Advisor with no Broker-Dealer affiliation since then.
Dream Catcher Financial Services, LLC, has a very simple Privacy Policy. We do not share any client or prospective client's information with anyone except Colorado's Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA). That information is requested during the DORA Colorado Division of Securities Examination which all state-licensed Investment Advisors (IA) are subject to every 7 years.
